Volunteer star: Stu

Hi I’m Stu and I’,m a Spin Buddy with Preston Pedals. I live in Penwortham and my favourite riding route is anything hilly or rocky with great views and maybe a coffee and cake is involved. I once cycled up Scafell in the Lake District.  I would love to do longer bikepacking routes, I’ve done lots of it but would like to do more and more if time allow.  On my bucket list is John O Groats to Lands End al off-road, Europe from home for a year travelling, New Zealand top to bottom.

I love to socialise with people who like riding and the great outdoors. I ride personally for fitness and the love of the outdoors for relaxation, stress relief and the fresh air.  I’m involved in many cycling clubs for gravel, mountain biking and with kids biking groups.
