Preston Pedals at the Heart of Big Bike Revival’s 10-Year Milestone

The event brought together delivery partners, community organisers, MPs, and what better stage to celebrate our shared mission of building confidence, fixing bikes, and making cycling accessible in Preston and beyond.

Riding Proud with the Real Yellow Jersey

As part of the evening’s celebrations, Cycling UK awarded their coveted Real Yellow Jersey to 10 everyday cycling heroes, a national acknowledgement of individuals who’ve gone above and beyond to champion cycling in their communities. We’re thrilled that one of our Preston Pedals volunteers was among the recipients, recognised for tireless work supporting repair workshops, leading inclusive rides, and inspiring riders of all ages and backgrounds.

This recognition at Westminster is more than just an honour, it’s validation of our commitment to nurturing cycling culture in Preston. From confident beginners to seasoned community riders, every session, event, and smile tells the story of cycling bringing people together.
